Shrewsbury Auctions Centre
Halls Shrewsbury Livestock Auction Centre is one of the busiest livestock markets in the West Midland and Welsh Border region with a regular entry of over 800 lots at each sale. Ideally positioned in the centre of the country, we have excellent motorway and road links making Halls Auction Centre a popular choice with livestock buyers and sellers from Shropshire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Cheshire, Staffordshire, Powys, Clwyd, Mid Wales and the West Midlands.
As well as holding regular commercial livestock auctions, our livestock centre also hosts a number of shows throughout the year, including our annual Traditional & Rare Breeds Show and Sale and the Shropshire and Borders Club Show and Sale.
Our Livestock Auctions
We hold weekly auctions of the following type at our Shrewsbury Livestock Auction Centre:
Our weekly Tuesday auction at Shrewsbury features Dairy & Beef Cattle, Barren Cows, Calves, Prime Lambs / Hoggets, and Cull Ewes & Rams.
We also hold a Weanling / Cows & Calves auction every fortnight.
On Wednesdays, our Shrewsbury auction offers TB Restricted “Orange” Cattle on a monthly basis, while our Bishops Castle location auctions Prime Lambs / Hoggets, Cull Ewes, and Store Lambs.
Every other Thursday, our Shrewsbury auction hosts Store Cattle and Breeding Sheep.
Meanwhile, Bishops Castle conducts Store Cattle auctions (please refer to our calendar for sale dates).
We manage pedigree society sales of Hereford, British Blue, British Blonde and South Devon cattle and Suffolk, Hampshire Down, Texel and Shropshire sheep.
